Darren established GTG Capital Partners with more than 22 years of financial planning and banking experience. He commenced his career with Westpac Bank and his last 16 years worked in the role of Executive Financial Planner across Sydney and Brisbane.
He went into private practice to be able to provide holistic independent solutions when advising individuals, families and business, with substantial investable assets. He has extensive experience advising clients on investment strategies, portfolio construction, tax planning, estate planning, stock option exercise planning, insurance analysis, retirement planning, asset protection strategies and business succession planning.
Darren holds a degree in Commerce, in Management and Accounting, from the University of Western Sydney. Additionally he has attained an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. He is SMSF Accredited and an ASX Accredited Derivatives Adviser – Level 1.
Darren has also received a number of awards for excellence and has been recognised for delivering exceptional service and support to his clients. Darren is a Director and founder of GTG Capital Partners, and heads the company’s Brisbane office.
